I checked the file location and there's a log file which always shows the same/similar which contains in the image attached. I've also tested with a 1.16.5 version of forge and it worked flawlessly I also tried it with another computer and it's the same. I've done some solutions like installing jarfix, running 1.8.9 vanilla (which I already did beforehand), and using other versions and installer of forge. Results are the same (I used the open with option and selected the javaw.exe). At this point I think it's because the java version (I saw a thread somewhere), so I searched and found an older version of Java from, I installed the jdk and jre just to make sure. I then open the forge installer once again, nothing. I went to then proceed to download and install the latest jre-8u281. Keep in mind I've installed AdoptOpenJDK. I thought, okay probably it has something to do with Java. 1722 (windows installer) I encounter some problem, the installation screen which should show installation location, client or server side installation, and others weren't opening. I have installed forge before and I thought there shouldnt be any difficulty.
